October 2018

These are very exciting days for us! There is so much going on and we are very excited about the near future. We are preparing for our first services in the new work and we covet your prayers.

We have spent the last 2-3 months working on the church building. A lot has been accomplished in this time. With your help, we have built a security wall around the property. We have also done a lot of remodel work to the building. This was to change it from a house to a church. There is still more we want to do but everything is far enough along that we are preparing for our first services.

We covet your prayers, especially in the coming days and weeks. This Sunday, the 14th, we are having a dedication service. We have invited some local pastors to come and see the building and help us pray over the property. What started out as a small event has somehow grown to possibly 100+ fellow believers from around the country that want to come and take part. I am not sure how the amount of people grew so much, but it did. I am also not real sure where we are going to put them all as we only have 70 chairs!! We can already tell we are going to need more chairs and we are going to need them quickly.

Then October 21st at 9:30am EST, we are scheduled to have our very first service!!! Words can’t describe how excited we are for this day. So far, we have knocked doors on about 20 blocks around the church inviting people for this first day. We have over 3,000 invitations that we are trying to put out in the surrounding community. We have had a lot of positive feedback so far but there is no real way to know how many people will actually show up.

Would you please pray for us? We need your prayers and the Lord’s help. Please pray over these 3,000 invitations we are handing out. Would you also pray about the weather, as it is supposed to rain all week. Please help us pray for the true convicting power of the Holy Ghost to come and settle amongst our people. Please pray for the souls that will be there. Please pray for us as we try to lead, teach and preach to these people. We are in need of your prayers and His touch.
